Meet Colt Green

Colt's Bunker Gear is on Engine 32.
"It will remain there until he can drag his ass down here to remove it." -Chief of Operations

I want to start this off by saying Colt Greene is an incredible person. He is the father of 2 year old son, Emory, and has a loving wife named Rachel. Rachel is a local elementary school teacher. He is son to Tanya and Randy Greene and has a sister named Summer that completely idolizes him. Colt is also a firefighter/paramedic at Bernalillo County in New Mexico right outside of Albuquerque. He has helped save countless number of lives and homes in his career.
This hero now needs your help. Colt had an accident with a firearm on the night of February 19th, 2012. He is having surgeries that run into the millions and his insurance is only covering part of the cost. Below I have a link so that anyone can make a donation. Every small bit counts. All the money will go into a bank account I have created and given to his family. I assure you that this is completely secure and safe. My email is garbajosa@gmail.com - if you have any concerns, you are welcome to email me. You can also go to any Wells Fargo bank and donate under Colt Greene Donation Fund.
My name is Gabriel Moreno and I have been friends with colt for the past 10 years and nobody has made me laugh harder and more frequently than Colt. He was voted class clown in high school. He is a very caring person and has an incredible amount of friends because of his unique personality. He has an incredible passion for life, his job and his family. It hurts my heart to see one of the most energetic people I know completely sedated in the ICU and not joking or making people laugh.
The hallway by the ICU where Colt is staying is lined with his family, friends, and fellow firefighters. The firefighters are running shifts as a presence to be there at all times that they can. It's beautiful to see this brotherhood helping support him. They are also creating a fund to help Colt and his family in these difficult times.Thank you BCFD!
We would also like to thank everyone else who is helping Colt out in any way. You know who you are. Friends, family, AFD, KAFBFD, forest service. Every small contribution is helping Colt and his family out.
To see updates on Colt's status you can visit http://www.carepages.com/carepages/ColtGreene, that is being run by one of Colt's close friend and co worker Wyatt Schichtel. Just so everyone knows, your donations will not post on your credit card or account for 2-3 days and should post as paypal.com. Thank you for your patience.
For all of you that have already donated THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!
